Main Window The main window appears at startup of Instrument-Tuner. It displays a number of controls that can be used to tune an instrument.
These are the controls from top to Bottom: Menu bar The menu bar provides all available commands used in Instrument-Tuner. See the menu bar for details. Tool bar The tool bar provides quick mouse access to the most important commands used in Instrument-tuner. See the tool bar for details. Numeric Display The numeric display shows the selected temperament, the selected tone and the measurement-results. See the numeric dislplay for details. Strobe Display This control shows the deviation of the measured tone in the form of a moving bar. See the strobe display for details. Deviation Needle The deviation bar shows the deviation of the measured tone in the form of a static bar. See the deviation needle for details. Spectrum Display It shows the detailed spectrum of the measured tone. See the frequency spectrum for details. Protocol The protocol shows the measured deviation of each tone. It can be saved to a file or used as a template for a new temperament. See the protocol for details. Paino Keyboard The keyboard can be used to select the current tone. See the piano keyboard for details. Configuration Bar The configuration bar is used to configure the main window and to select the current tone. See the configuration bar for details. Status bar The status bar shows the state of the application. See the status bar for details.
